My Name is Khan

I don't know why but suddenly, I want to write about this movie. Well, actually this movie has been released weeks ago, I watched it  a month ago. But the scenes of this movie keep playing in my mind.

A month ago, on a hot Sunday afternoon, suddenly my mom asked me to go to the movie. Mom doesn't like watching movies at theater, she'd rather watch them at home. She asked me to watch 'My name is Khan'. I asked her, "How do u know that movie, Ma?". "Rendy told me it's a good movie, it's not like any Indian movies," she replied. For your information, My mom used to be a big fan of Indian movies, when she was young, but not anymore. "It's too long, I can't watch it. Feel bored," said her if I asked why she doesn't like Indian movies now. I told her about the movie before, but she looked didn't interested in it. But when my brother came home and told Ma about the movie, suddenly she wanted to watch it.

So we went to cinema on that day and watched the movie. As the movie playing, mom looked so focus to the movie. And at some scenes, I saw her crying a bit....[hehehe..yea Ma, me too, but not as intense as you :D].

I love this movie!! There are so much we can learn from the movie.

It was about a person with Asperger syndrome, named Khan.

With the condition he had, he still could live normally because his mother taught him very well. She sent him to the best teacher at their neighborhood, so he could get good education. She spent more time than with her other son. Even though, the attention she gave to her older son made her other son jealous. But, he grew up very well and his younger brother too. What a great Mom!!

Khan is a unique person with all his gifts.

It's about love.

How You love someone with all your heart. Being with someone like Khan is not easy [well, actually being with anyone isn't easy hehehe]. But Mandira could do that, and also his son, Sameer. Eventhough their religion were different, but they still loved each other, work to be together. It's about the 'Willingness to be together'. How do you fight for the one you  love. Will u fight for your love or just let it go? Khan showed that love must be fought. Although he had to leave Mandira's house and tried hard to meet Mr, President just to say that he was not  a terrorist, of course with a lot of obstacles he met at his journey.

In my opinion, Khan is a simple, sincere person. He loves Mandira, and that's all!! He is not a complicated person. We think he's complicated, but he himself never think that he's complicated. [If  love can be so simple like that in real life..hehehe..]. That's why he will do whatever Mandira asks him. Even the almost impossible one.

It's about helping each other

Khan showed us about helping each other. No matter what color you are, what religion u are, where are u from. When it's time help,  just help! Again, simple..

Last but not least..

Muslim isn't terrorist!
That's the most important things of all.

What a great movie. Me, mom, my house assistance, my brother and his girlfriend left the cinema with a satisfied feeling, and of course lot of things crossed our mind.

It is a very late review, but it's a must-seen movie.
