Lovely (unpublished) Weekend

I had really a great weekend yesterday. Starting on Friday afternoon. I won a quiz at that time. I got two Julio Iglesias concert tickets. The two tickets cost about 3 million rupiah. I was so excited. And not too long after that, about an hour after the winner announcement, I got another free tickets. It was TRAIN ticket. And I got some cash from Radio quiz. God! I was so lucky that Friday.

The next day, Saturday noon, I had an appointment with my patient. She was five years old. It was her third visit. And she was so cooperative. First time she came to my office, she was little hard to handle. I had to treat her for more than one hour, just for a temporary filling. Last Saturday was her third, she behaved nicely. She went straight to the dental chair and followed my instruction very well. With her laughing along the treatment made me feel happy and relaxed. I could finish the treatment faster than the former visits. Her mother was cooperative, too. Her mother encouraged her to behave well like she always did. So we could build a good cooperation between the three of us. In the evening after working, I went with some friends to the cinema. We watched 'Breaking Dawn'. Actually none of us knew the story. It was only because it was famous and we wanted to know what it's all about. The happy part was because I could hang out with some friends, not because I finally liked the movie (well, the movie was okay, it's just that I am not a fan of Twilight). And before I went to the cinema, I went to Indo Book Fair and got imported books with cheap price, 70% discount. Book Fair is always interesting for me. What a great Saturday!

On Sunday evening I went to Julio Iglesias Concert at Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place. I had never been in that venue before. Plus I like Julio, that was why I was excited to attend that concert. We arrived at 8 pm. Everyone dressed nicely, men and women. I loved to see them. Everybody looked gorgeous. Most of the visitors were older than me. Maybe at my mom's age, 50s and more. The show started at 9. I really enjoyed the concert. It was not like any other concerts I used to attend, where you could scream and sing along with loud voice. They just hummed. He sang Spanish, French songs and brought two dancers to the stage. They did Tango Dance. Julio said "The sexiest dance in the world is Tango. Watching Julio Iglesias Concert was really a calming, balancing activity for your hectic life. It really was.

On Monday evening I went to TRAIN concert with the free ticket I got from a radio. I went there after work. I arrived at 8.30 pm. When I got there, the show had not started yet. I saw a lot of people sat on the floor. It wasn't hard for me to get the good spot. I was in second row. Honestly, I just know some of TRAIN songs, and I'm not a fan of them either. I just know that some of their songs are good. The show was opened by Aditya. He sang some songs, for 30 minutes. I think he was good, too. At 9, TRAIN came to the stage & started the show. They were awesome! I never thought that it would be an awesome concert because I just knew some of their songs. But those songs, which I didn't know too well, succeeded in making me blending with their true fans. Some teenagers beside me screamed loudly throughout the concert. They always said 'Pat, you're hot!' That made Pat Monahan looked at my area, smiled and said, 'You're crazy.' But that made the girls screamed even louder. I could feel the euphoria of their fans. Pat Monahan, the vocalist was so communicative to the fans. He really knew how to make the fans scream and sing louder, not only female fans but also male fans. This was kind of euphoria that I didn't see the former day at Julio Iglesias Concert. Well, since the audiences were different, that made sense actually. He threw some shirts, hat, even gave a guitar with his signature on it to a guy beside me (what a lucky guy!). When Pat tried to give the guitar to the guy beside me, another guy came to the front, tried to take that guitar, but Pat looked didn't like it. So he held the guitar and shook his head said, 'No' and gave straightly to the guy he meant. The condition was pretty chaos when he started to throw things. Everyone tried to come to the front, pushed the others to get a way from the railing. I didn't like it, so I walked away from that side. When he was done throwing things, I could get my self to the position I was. Seemed that everyone just wanted to get the things. Didn't even care if they pushed somebody else too hard. The show ended at 11. I really enjoyed the show. I came with just a couple song I knew, but came home with more songs I liked. No wonder they got some awards. They were awesome!

I love my life :)
